Elgol, Isle of Skye - Scotland

One of the most glorious views in Scotland looking over the shores of Loch Scavaig on the south coast of Isle of Skye.
Situated south west of Broadford at the tip of the Strathaird peninsula, Elgol is reached by a dramatic road through the Red Cuillins and Strath Suardal with superb views passing the ruined Cill Chriosd.
The images have been printed from extremely high quality scans of the original 10” x 8” and 5” x 4” film negatives, or from the original digital camera files. The images have been processed in Lindsay’s digital darkroom using the same painstaking and crafted ’painting with light’ techniques that he utilises in his traditional darkroom.
